Our experience with Northern Neck Homes

In August 2009, we contracted with Northern Neck Homes ( Ben Hudson) to build our retirement home on a vacant lot we purchased some years ago. We selected Northern Neck Homes after talking to a number of building contractors in the area. We found Ben Hudson to be knowledgeable and completely honest regarding what we could expect for our construction budget.

Construction began in September 2009 and was completed in May, right on schedule. All aspects of construction were under the direct supervision of Ben Hudson. In addition to his crew, Ben hired a number of subcontractors to complete the work. Ben took complete responsibility for everything that happened on the job site. We found his crew and all other workers to be true professionals in their trade. As you might expect, there were unforeseen issues and last minute changes that we requested during construction. Ben went out of his way to accommodate these changes.

In May 2010, we were issued a certificate of occupancy and moved in immediately. Since then we have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our new home. We have had numerous complements from friends and family regarding the overall workmanship displayed throughout this home. There have only been two minor issues come up since we moved in and Ben took care of them immediately.

We would not hesitate to recommend Northern Neck Homes and Ben Hudson for any construction project. He is reliable, dependable, and will give you the finished product you are looking for in a timely manner.
